Non-Permissible Uses of Quick Research Services
Quick Research adheres to specific business principles to protect the privacy rights of individuals. Because the information obtained through our services may, in many instances, contain certain non-public information, Quick Research will only provide such information to consumers with a permissible purpose for obtaining that information. By purchasing Quick Research services, you agree that:
You intend to use any and all information provided to you by Quick Research and its employees ONLY for a use that will clearly cause no emotional or physical harm to anyone. You will not use any information provided to you by Quick Research or its employees for consideration of an individual consumer's credit worthiness, insurance underwriting, employment screening (including but not limited to hiring, promotion, reassignment, or retention) or any other purpose covered by all applicable laws. If you use Quick Research service for these you may be violating the law.
- You will not seek information about or harm minors in any way.
- You will not seek information about celebrities or public figures.
- You will not intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law or any regulations having the force of law.
- You will not "stalk" or otherwise harass another.
- You will not promote or provide instructional information about illegal activities or promote physical harm or injury against any group or individual.
You agree to indemnify and hold QiQ Research, Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and all applicable third parties (e.g., all relevant marketing partner(s), licensors, and licensees) harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of any rights of another. In the event that this service is not used in an appropriate manner Quick Research reserves the right to seek all appropriate remedies at law or equity. Nothing in this Agreement in is a relinquishment or waiver of Quick Research's rights and remedies.
Quick Research is not a licensed private investigator, and does not engage in any activities for which a license is required. Quick Research, as a matter of policy, will not sell information to individuals it knows to be under the age of 18 nor will Quick Research divulge information about individuals it knows to be under the age of 18.
Quick Research, its affiliates, agents and employees are not liable to any party for any special, consequential, punitive, direct, or indirect damages for any reliance or use upon the information disseminated, sold, or displayed on Quick Research's Web site, including but not limited to, business interruption, lost profits, loss of programs or other data, even if Quick Research is expressly advised of the possibility of such damages. In addition, Quick Research, its affiliates, agents and employees are not liable to any party for any special, consequential, direct, or indirect damages for any correspondence between our customers and their search subjects or any reunions or other dealings resulting there from.
QUICK RESEARCH DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY OF THE DATA AVAILABLE THROUGH TELEPHONE SALES OR SALES MADE OVER THE INTERNET VIA US SEARCH'S WEB SITE. ANY INFORMATION PURCHASED FROM QUICK RESEARCH, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF INFORMATION PURCHASED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FCRA REQUIREMENTS, SHALL NOT BE USED FOR PURPOSES OF DECIDING WHETHER TO HIRE AN INDIVIDUAL FOR EMPLOYMENT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO HIRING, PROMOTION, REASSIGNMENT OR RETENTION), RENTING PROPERTY TO AN INDIVIDUAL, OR FOR DETERMINING AN INDIVIDUAL'S ELIGIBILITY TO RECEIVE CREDIT OR INSURANCE. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the information is provided "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
In an effort to protect its customers from credit card fraud, Quick Research actively analyzes its orders and attempted orders to identify and block individuals suspected of fraudulent activity from using the Quick Research services. Quick Research shares this data (including, but not limited to, suspect credit card numbers, e-mail addresses, ip addresses, etc.) with trusted partners in an effort to increase our protective services. In placing an order with Quick Research, you acknowledge that your data may be added to our suspicious activities list and be shared with our trusted partners.
Customer/Client agrees that the information obtained through the Quick Research will be used and disseminated in complete compliance with all applicable laws and for no improper purpose. Customer/Client will indemnify and hold the Quick Research harmless for any liability arising out of the use or dissemination of the information obtained through the Quick Research by customer or anyone acting on customer's behalf. Customer/Client agrees not to tamper with, alter, or change any records, materials, information or programs made available to Customer by the Quick Research.
